Jana, COE, ABO/NCLE Certified

Jana is originally from Tempe, Arizona. She joined the eyecare field in 2001 and has worked in many different departments over the years. She received her American Board of Opticianry Certification as well as her National Contact Lens Examiners Certification in 2008. In 2009, she became a Licensed Optician. In 2017, she became a Certified Ophthalmic Executive.

In 2011, her and her husband relocated to Jacksonville and she has been a proud member of the Bowden Eye team ever since. Hired as the Optical Manager for the locations, she has expanded her contribution and assists in many different areas at the practice. Jana currently serves as Human Resources and Assistant to the Practice Administrator.

Her husband owns the local tattoo shop, Hold the Line Tattoo, which was awarded Bold City Best in 2016. In her free time she loves trying out new recipes, taking motorcycle rides with friends, spending the day fishing on the boat or just relaxing at home with her 2 little French Bulldogs.
